Gary began his career in 1986 at LF Rothschild as a research analyst specializing in TMT stocks. In 1991, he joined the renowned investment bank Robertson Stephens as the Head of Environmental Services Investment Banking. Initially recruited as a Senior Research Analyst, Gary transitioned into the investment banking group, contributing to the firm’s legacy as one of the "Four Horsemen" of investment banking, underwriting landmark IPOs, and leading transformative M&A transactions.

He is also the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer for Shepherd Avenue Capital Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: SPHA), which is a special purpose acquisition corporation targeting a globally sourced business combination, where he has led the firm from inception through the recent IPO close for a total offering of $86.25 million. Bill has also been serving as the Managing Partner of Daedalus Analytics International, a boutique data-driven firm specializing in providing highly unique global strategic business intelligence for targeted innovation ecosystems.

He has deep experience in corporate finance, including cross-border M&A, international joint ventures, and technology licensing, particularly between the US, Europe, and China.
